LM Communications Broadcast Media, a multimedia group and parent company of WKLC-FM “Rock 105,” was awarded the prestigious honor of Legendary Station of the Year by the West Virginia Broadcast Association. The award was presented at the WVBA’s annual recognition dinner, Saturday, May 3.
“Rock 105” has ruled over the “rock” airwaves of the Charleston/Huntington/Ashland DMA for 39 years,” says Lynn Martin, President & CEO of LM Communications. “This recognition is a well-deserved pat on the back for all of those that have been a part of our efforts over almost four decades.”
Accepting the award was Chili Walker, Operations Manager and Program Director for WKLC-FM. “This is an amazing honor for our team and we’re proud to be part of Rock 105’s heritage,” said Walker.
Walker was joined on stage by Chris Colagrosso, Morning Host, “Hyde”, Midday Host, and Randy Gray, General Manager.
